Literally…

Hello my lovely readers!

I have another rant for you today. In addition to last week’s rant, there is a particular word that I cannot stand people using. As you can guess that word is, literally.

No, you, in fact, did not “literally” jump out of your skin. If you had you would be dead, or at the very least, dying. Just stop it. the word literally means that something actually happened. “That squirrel literally took the nut out of my hand.” Well, did he actually do that? If the answer is yes, then congratulations, you used the word correctly. However, if you threw it to him or something else where he did not grasp the nut from your fingers, then NO. You are lying, he did not LITERALLY do that.

If you are someone who does this, you literally need to stop. It is horrendous and quite annoying.

The question of the day: If you could take any word out of the world, what would it be?
Erinaceous, is my word. It means hedgehog-like. I believe it is completely useless and silly.

That is all for today. Keep Reading!

Ta, ta.

Hello, I am a lover, not a fighter. I am an author, an avid reader, and a happy wife. My contemporary fiction is serious and my fantasy fiction is filled with love and action. This is the most serious sounding "about me" I have ever written...and that is where I am going to end this.
